At our pharmacy, we have compounded more than 55,000 flavored medications for children. This vast experience has provided us with the knowledge and skill to make nearly any medication palatable.
As every parent knows, convincing a child to take his or her medicine can be a difficult and harrying task. Children can be very particular about what they will and will not eat. Most medications produced by commercial drug manufacturers come only in capsule form, which children may find difficult to swallow. In addition, standard commercial medications may be available only in dosages too high for a child. In cases where a medication is manufactured in liquid form, it often does not meet the taste requirements of children. Commercial liquid medications also generally contain alcohol and sugar. At Lee Silsby Compounding Pharmacy, we can help with all of these problems.
We design all of our oral liquids to be both sugar-free and alcohol-free. Pediatric medication is dispensed with an easy-to-use syringe and cap to ensure that an accurate dose is given. Best of all, children get to choose from more than 35 flavors to be used in their medication. With so many choices, every patient is sure to have a pleasant experience taking his or her medicine.

About Lee Silsby
Lee Silsby Compounding Pharmacy was founded in 1982 by Alan Israel, R.Ph. Our pharmacy is located in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, in a historic fire station. Extensive renovation was done to the inside of the fire station to create a state-of-the-art pharmaceutical facility, while still maintaining the exterior of the building consistent with the standards required for a historical structure.
