Imidurea NF (imidazolidinyl urea) is a preservative used in many topical products. Prohibited in countries with more stringent regulations, Imidurea NF releases formaldehyde, a known carcinogen and allergen. Check the labels on all topical products to ensure they do not contain Imidurea NF. OurKids products never contain Imidurea NF or any other formaldehyde-releasing preservatives.
A little bit goes a long way. It is not necessary to use as much cream as one would use of other zinc creams.
